The Dreamweaver Textile Design Competition is an opportunity for local A&D designers to create their own textile. The winning designer will have their textile woven and upholstered on a Haworth Harbor Work Lounge chair and ottoman.

Design will be judged based on product application, ease of production, and aesthetics. The winning textile will be upholstered on the Haworth Harbor Work Lounge chair and ottoman. Towards the end of the year, Commercial Office Environments along with Mayer Fabrics and Haworth will host an event to reveal the winner.
3.0 yards of fabric will be produced for both the chair and the ottoman. Designs can include 4-6 colors that fit within a 13.5″ straight repeat. Once the fabric passes the testing, 6-10 colors will be woven for the winning designer to review and selected for final submission.
Each designer is required to create a charette board for the judging process to include the following: design inspiration, process, and information.
Along with the fabric design, designers have the opportunity to choose the finishes that come standard on the Haworth Harbor Work Lounge.
